Folders are great for grouping like apps together and consolidating your home screen. For example, grouping all of your games in a folder titled “Games”, or all of your news apps grouped into a folder titled “News”, help streamline your home screen and make navigation much easier. To create a folder follow these steps:
1. Begin by placing a representative app on your home screen. For example, if you are going to create a folder called “Games”, make sure that a game app is on your home screen. It doesn’t matter which game you choose.
2. Scroll through your apps until you find a game app. Long press that app and the home screen will appear. Slide the app onto the game app on your home screen.
3. Repeat step two until all the games are grouped together.
4. To name your folder, simply press on you newly built folder and a space at the bottom will appear for you to type a name. Give your folder a name.
