LG Nexus 4 officially announced, available starting November 13

Hurricane Sandy may have disrupted Google’s media event, but that didn’t stop the company from announcing its latest devices. Finally, after a ton of rumors and leaks, Google has officially announced the LG Nexus 4, one of the most talked about phones in recent weeks.

What You Need To Know:

  • The LG Nexus 4 is another version of the LG Optimus G. The device packs a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and internal storage of up to 16GB.
  • The device features a 4.7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 768 resolution, 320ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It also has a 1.3MP front-facing camera and 8MP rear-facing camera.
  • As expected, the Nexus 4 will have the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
  • To make the LG Nexus 4 affordable, it does not have microSD support and no 4G LTE connectivity.
  • The LG Nexus 4 will hit the stores starting November 13. The 8GB version will cost $299 and the 16GB version will cost $349. Take note that both versions are sold unlocked.
