The Fuhu Nabi 2, a Tegra 3 tablet specifically designed for kids, is finally available for pre-orders. The tablet is suitable for the age group from pre-K to 5th grade.

What You Need To Know:

  • The Nabi 2 has a 7-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 1GB RAM. It has also has 8GB storage and 2MP front-facing camera.
  • The tablet is 8.69 inches wide and 6.05 inches long. It weighs 1.31 pounds.
  • It is now available for pre-orders from Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Gamestop. It is also scheduled to be released at Target and Amazon on July 22.
  • A downside of the Fuhu Nabi 2 is that it does not have access to Google Play. However, users could sideload the Amazon Appstore.
  • The tablet is priced $199.

I think the Nabi 2 is a fantastic device that both kids and parents can get behind. I’m walking away from this review extremely impressed with not only the level of detail in the software, but the overall design, as well. Thus, if you want a device for your kids that’s not only fun to use, but has some educational merit, this device is an excellent choice. And at only $199, you’ll get a premium Android experience that won’t break the bank.
