Google to unveil Nexus 10, Nexus 7, LG Nexus 4 and Android 4.2 on October 29

Google is set to launch 3 new devices and the latest version of its Android platform at its October 29th event. Just about a week before the event, a source revealed to tech site TheNextWeb the juicy details about the event.

What You Need To Know:

  • According to the leak, Google is set to reveal the Nexus 10, a 10-inch tablet with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. The actual name of the device is not yet confirmed.
  • The Nexus 7 is also set to be revealed next week. There have been few details regarding the device. Reports indicate that Google will launch a 32GB Nexus 7 with two versions; one which offers Wi-Fi connectivity and the other featuring HSPA+ (3G) support.
  • Of course, the much talked about LG Nexus will also be revealed on October 29. The phone will be named as LG Nexus 4. The device features a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 4.7-inch display and 8MP camera.
  • All the devices mentioned will come with Android 4.2 on board. Instead of the nickname Key Lime Pie, the upcoming Android version will still be called as Jelly Bean.
