Kyocera Rise with Android 4.0 and QWERTY slider coming to Sprint and Virgin Mobile

QWERTY fans have a reason to celebrate this month as the affordable Kyocera Rise is coming to Sprint and Virgin Mobile. Along with a four-row keyboard QWERTY slider, the Rise is shipped with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

What You Need To Know:

  • The Kyocera Rise packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and has a 3.5-inch touch-screen display. It also has a 3.2Mp rear camera with LED flash.
  • The phone was first spotted on the CTIA 2012 event last May.
  • The device will be available to Sprint on August 19 for $20 with a $50 mail-in-rebate and a 2-year contract. It will also be available to Virgin Mobile on August 31 for $100 with no contract.
