‘Modern Warfare 2’ on a pirate site! Microsoft bans XBox-Live players again

Gamers who have altered their consoles cannot  use  Microsoft’s gaming service anymore

“It’s oh-so enticing: You find a copy of a brand-new game like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on a pirate site and the temptation to download it is too strong.”

Report: Microsoft bans 1 million Xbox Live players

The timing of the statement coincides with the release this week of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,” a highly anticipated Xbox 360 game. The game’s release means big sales — but also sales of pirated copies, which are illegal.

Microsoft said Wednesday

“All consumers should know that piracy is illegal and that modifying their Xbox 360 console violates the Xbox Live terms of use, will void their warranty and result in a ban from Xbox Live,”

Again has Microsoft banned a big huge amount of 600,000 – 1,000,000 XBox-Live user.

Is the XBox Live ban justifiable?

  1. Yes it very much is justifiable. People shouldn’t be modding their xbox’s [being cheap] then think they can go online and get away with it then get upset when they don’t. If you do illegal things, bad things will happen.

Let me get this right they slapped 1 million consumers and will lose millions every month and will lose these consumers from buying anything else from them? That is an incredibly stupid thing to do.Sounds like xbox just went bankrupt. The stupid stick must have hit them in the head.Mayhaps had the company lowered its prices to reality prices they wouldn’t had to shoot their own dicks off. With prices so damn high and monthly payments too this model is broken in this economy.Wow watch the stocks go down to pennies you fools.Glad I never got an xbox. Was thinking of getting a PS3 for christmas if they lowered the price another hundred but if they don’t the PC will still and always rule.Wow xbox just wow on the stupidity.
