Motorola Photon Q with QWERTY slider coming to Sprint

The sinking of RIM has left many QWERTY lovers in disarray. The upcoming release of Motorola Photon Q could be the light at the end of the tunnel for QWERTY keyboard fanatics. The new Motorola phone will soon be heading to Sprint. It will be Sprint’s first 4G LTE smartphone with a full physical keyboard and international roaming capabilities.

What You Need To Know:

  • The Motorola Photon Q will be shipped with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor. It sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p video capture and a front-facing HD camera for video chat.
  • The Photon Q has a five-row keyboard. It also has 4.3-inch display with a 960×540 resolution.
  • The Photon Q also has a “mirror mode” feature which enables users to connect the phone to their TVs via an HDMI port.
  • For business users, the Photon Q has security features such as remote wipe, PIN lock, and data encryption.
