Sony introduces Xperia T, V, and J smartphones at IFA 2012

Sony may not be a top dog in the mobile space but the company is making a strong bid at the latest IFA 2012 event in Berlin. Sony has revealed, not one, but three new Android phones namely; Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J.

What You Need To Know:

  • The Xperia T is considered as Sony’s new flagship phone which packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.6-inch display and a 13MP camera. The camera will be shipped with Android 4.0, but Sony is hinting that it will have an Android 4.1 update soon.
  • The Xperia V also has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a 13MP camera but it has a smaller 4.3-inch display.
  • Finally, the Xperia J is targeted for budget-conscious consumers. The device has 1GHz processor, 4-inch display and a 5-MP camera.
  • The Xperia T will soon be available in the next few weeks. The other two phones will be available sometime in the fourth quarter.
