Sprint releases software update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Just two weeks after the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was released, Sprint is now distributing a software update for the device. It’s not the Android 4.2 update like most users having been clamouring for, rather a software update with minor changes said to enhance the user experience.
What You Need To Know:
- Perhaps, the best feature of the software update is the Multi Window View. This allows users to view and run two applications simultaneously.
- Other enhancements or fixes brought by the update include GPS lock settings can be set to default by administrators, emails go to Outbox when the device has no coverage or in flight mode, and text message notification will beep while in a voice mail.
- The software update is now available via OTA.
